I am Joshua Chen, a fullstack software engineer with a focus on backend systems. I studied Computer Science at UT Austin and am currently the technical co-founder of Pocket Trader, where I architect the full stack from database to mobile UI.
Previously I was a software engineer at Wayfair, working across React, FastAPI, Kafka, and Postgres on delivery operations at scale. My main tools are TypeScript and React Native on the frontend, Python on the backend, and PostgreSQL for data.
